You Are Not Alone

Do not listen to the thoughts that say you are weak, that you are not able. These are not true. You are not alone in this struggle for life, for the partner in your struggle is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is waiting to enter with you into this great war, for He knows it is greater than we can enter with our own strength.

Satan is strong, and the devourer takes delight in the destruction of our families and to see us trapped in the pit of sin and despair. Help and strength are not far from you. They are closer to your heart than you imagine.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will
deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation. Psalm 91

God’s Word is For You

My dear lady, get a copy of the Word of God, the Bible. Read and search through it. God’s Word will lead you and direct you into all these matters. It will open the door of hope before you, and will lead you to the knowledge of the truth. It will free you from the bondage of sin and the injustice of man. You will receive the peace and know the position that God created you for. You will know the love that is given from God, for the Bible says of Him, “God is love.” 1 John 4:8

This is the only way for the restoration of the beautiful portrait that God painted for the woman He created and loved. He intended that she would enjoy quietness and confidence in a house full of happiness and joy together with a believing husband who loves his wife, willing to sacrifice for her, with obedient children, pleasing to their parents. Take hold of these promises with hope, and step by step He will show you the path to take.

Finally, my dear lady, I leave you with these sweet and gentle words from the Lord, hoping that they will be refreshing water to a thirsty soul that has been stricken with dryness. Listen to what the Lord says through the prophet Isaiah:

Isaiah 43:11 “I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior.”

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Isaiah 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.”

Isaiah 44:3 “For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, and My blessing on your offspring.”

I pray that God will be with you, strengthen and guide you, and do wonders through you among the members of your beloved family.

May He give you “beauty instead of ashes,
The oil of joy instead of mourning,
The garment of praise instead of the spirit
of heaviness.”

May the peace of God that passes all
understanding be with you.
