The Arabic Evangelical Church in Egypt
- The church is showing continued growth and resilience in the midst of mounting hostilities and pressures by the extremists groups. Most churches are located in Cairo, Alexandria, and in Upper Egypt. The Evangelical Church of Egypt leads the group with a total of 320 churches and almost 300,000 members. Other groups include the Free Methodists (120 churches) Assemblies of God (100 churches) and the Brethren. Pray that the Christians in Egypt persevere in their witness despite the constant threat and actual dangers they are living under. Praise God for the continued growth.
- The Christian literature production continues to be very active. Pray that sound and effective Christian books will continue to be produced and translated in Egypt.
