What We Believe?

The Bible

-We believe the entire Bible as the inspired inerrant word of God in its original documents.  We believe the Bible is God breathed and is the final authority in all matters of Christian faith.

(2 Pet 19-21, 2 Tim 3:16-17, Matt 24:35, Jn 10:35b)

God

-We believe that there is only one true and living God who is omnipotent, omnipresent, invisible, eternal, omniscient, infinite, unchangeable, unsearchable, righteous, loving, Just, Holy, and wise.  God is one God and reveals Himself in three ways: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Triune God).
(Rev. 19:6, John 1:18, 1 John 3:20, Ps. 139:7-12, Rom 11:33,34, Deut 33:27, Deut 6:4, Acts 15:18, 2 Cor 13:14, Matt 28:19)

The Father

-We believe the Father is the first person of the Triune God who is sovereign over all things and who is above all. He is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and the spiritual Father of all those who believe on His Son.
(I Cor 8:6, Eph 1:5, Jn 20:17)

The Son

-We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the triune God who is equal with the Father and Holy Spirit. He was made flesh, was conceived by the Holy Ghost from a virgin and lived a sinless life that always was pleasing to the Father. He came to give His life a ransom for many as He died on a cross for the sins of the whole world.  He was buried, rose again from the dead on the third day, and ascended to the Father. He is seated on the right had of the Father interceding for us. He is the head of the Church and one day is coming to remove the Church from this world. He will come to establish His millennial reign and at the end of His thousand year reign will judge the lost of all ages at the great White Throne Judgment where every knee shall bow.
(Jn 1;14, Matt 1;18-23, II Cor 5:21, Jn 11:25, Phil 2:5-8 Acts 1:9-11 Rev 20)

The Holy Spirit

-We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the triune God who convicts of sin and delivers from the power of sin. He baptizes believers into the body of Christ.  He indwells believers from the moment of salvation and leads those who believe. The Holy Spirit fills believers, empowers them and bears fruit through them for the glory of God.
(Rom 8:2,14,16, 26-27, Jn 16:7, Eph 5:18, Gal 5:22)

Man and Salvation

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God. However, mankind was tempted by Satan and sinned against God. Hence, we believe in the total depravity of mankind and consequently the need for a Savior.  We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God's power and are thus secure in Christ forever.
(Gen 1:27, Rom 3:10-19, Eph 2:8-9,Rom 5:12,19, John 5:24; 10:27-29; Ephesians 4:30; Jude 24; 1 Peter 1:5).

Good and evil angels

- We believe in the existence of angels, and the existence of Lucifer (Satan) who, because of pride, fell from Heaven and took many angels with him. He is our adversary and the author of sin who is walking about, seeking whom he may devour. We also believe that he will be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire.
(Ezek 28:13-19, I Pet 5:8, Rev 20:10)

The church

-We believe that the church is the local assembly of believers begun with Pentecost until the rapture whose purpose is to glorify God through the edification of the saints by the teaching of the Word of God, the fellowship of the saints, keeping of two ordinances ( baptism by immersion and Lord’s supper), and proclaiming the Gospel to the entire world.
(Eph 4;12 Acts 20:27,28 Luke 22:19; Acts 2:38 42 Matthew 28:19; Acts 1:8; 2:42).

Eternal state

-We believe that those who trust Jesus Christ as their Savior, upon death, will be present with the Lord awaiting to be reunited with their glorified bodies at the first resurrection

On the other hand, the unbeliever’s spirit and soul will be reunited with their bodies at the second resurrection where they shall be cast into the Lake of Fire forever.
(II Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23, Rom 8:23, Matt 25:41, Rev 20:11-15)

We believe in the dispensational view of Bible interpretation. In addition we believe in separation from all religious apostasy (New Evangelicalism, Ecumenical movement, etc), and all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations as commanded of God.
(2 Corinthians 6:14-18; Ephesians 4:14-15; 1 Timothy 6:3-5; 2 Timothy 3:1-5)
